Many people may associate Åland with cheap cruises and duty-free shopping. We have a completely different picture of this fantastic island in the Baltic Sea, only 2 hours away by boat from Grisslehamn.

Åland offers magical nature with a vibrant farming landscape and the sea is always present with quiet bays and the wild rocky coast in the north. The island has a unique range of locally produced ingredients and can also be considered a culinary mecca. Together with our client Curious Mind, we visited the island on a cold but sunny spring-winter weekend in early April.

During the enjoyable theme "Culinary Minds", the participants were responsible for the dinner themselves under the guidance of master chef Michael Björklund at his restaurant Smakbyn. Accommodation in the incomparable cliff houses on Havsvidden combined with a conference, sauna and activities was topped off by an unbeatable closing dinner at the Gastropub Stallhagen.

It doesn't have to be any more difficult than that to achieve a sustainable conference with extra everything!
